The Raccoon Lab started with a simple idea: there doesn't need to be a big company behind everything that gets made. One person with the will to build something can make almost anything now.
I found that out the first time I got an LED to light up, and I never let the feeling go. Every cent I earned went into it — tools, components, whatever I could get hold of. Some of it came off Amazon. Plenty of it came out of old electronics I took apart for the parts. Half a decade and an engineering degree later, I build the things I used to take apart.
So now I put it out, and it comes in two forms: projects to build, and guides to learn from. I want the people who are where I was to see what's actually possible — and to have the thing I didn't: all of it in one place, with nothing missing and nothing assumed.
